Lookout was designed to celebrate one of Perth’s most spectacular waterfront locations, balancing bold contemporary architecture with spaces that feel calm, welcoming and effortless to live in.
The home functions to provide spaces for the family and extend family to reside simultaneously, coming together around the large entertaining spaces around the pool or front balcony but equally provides separation and privacy when desired. The home has been designed to provide constant view corridors to the river within the home through thoughtfully placed window locations, whilst providing private outdoor living from the homes exposed streetscape.
The striking angled upper level was intentionally designed to maximise views towards the city while creating a distinctive architectural feature. The remaining forms and angles throughout the home were then carefully balanced around this defining element, resulting in a design that feels both bold and harmonious.
